Ami Floor Lamp

Experimenting with steel mesh as a design material, we often find the studio filled with random shapes crowding out a tabletop like a little city skyline of uniform grids. The mesh was intriguing in its most basic forms so we started by creating simple towers that evolved into our first lamp collection. 

The floor lamp has a suspended a light fixture that projects down as a reading light and up at the ceiling while also catching the mesh to create delicate gradients.

The aesthetic, while at first glance suited to a cool minimal vibe, has also felt surprisingly versatile in practice, finding a softer, more elegant tone when in a more eclectic space.
